Beginning in January 2008 Farvan will be featuring for the first time in Charlotte painter Faisal Yousef from Amman, Jordan. Named the second top young painter in Jordan by the Ministry of Culture in 2002, he has since won several awards throughout the Middle East. Inspired and influenced by Middle Eastern culture and architectural scenes Faisal's work will combine a series of water colors and oils depicting the landscapes from that region.
